Elixirs are herbal tonics that are sweetened
in order to (1) mask the taste of herbs containing bitter
alkaloids herbs or (2) promote assimilation of the herbs into the
blood stream. My
experience with elixirs is that they work better than the identical
herbs prepared as capsules, tablets, teas, or alcohol extracts.
Therefore, I consider the elixirs to be the cornerstones
of our product line and intelligent conceived strategies for wellness.
To
avoid refined sugar, our elixirs are made with honey or molasses.
